Margaret and Ian live in a large house near Edinburgh with their three teenagers Fern, Dale and Tim.  They have an indoor swimming pool and two cars and take frequent overseas holidays.  They have two large labrador dogs.  Ian runs his own business while Margaret runs the home.  Margaret shops daily and buys a lot of convenience foods and special offers.  The family produces a lot of rubbish and Margaret makes several trips a week to a nearby waste site to dispose of extra rubbish bags.  The family does not recycle.  Click on the photos to find out more.
